CHANGE THE LIFE OF A CHILD
A CASA volunteer:
must be 21 years
of age
must successfully pass screening and background check
receives an initial 30-40 hours of training
must attend 12 hours of in-service training each year
generally serves from 5 - 15 hours per month
serves on at least one case per year
conducts an independent investigation on behalf of each child
consults with CASA staff attorneys regarding each case
submits contact logs and monthly updates to the CASA office
attends all pertinent hearings, reviews or meetings for each case
makes a two-year volunteer commitment

Orientation in Lawrence
County - May 27th 5:30pm - 8:30pm.
